We loved all of these places, but we still have to rate them:

 

11. Lania Royal Oak villa between Limassol and the Troodos Mountains, near the village of Laneia.

If you want to travel in the Troodos Mountains of Cyprus and not just near the beach, this villa has perfect location and also comfortable for the family. Two store house with two bedrooms upstairs and living room with kitchen downstairs. Quiet location with mountain view, fireplace and huge sun terrace.

 

 

10. Apartments Vedrina in the village of Prcanj near Kotor in Montenegro.

A new and modern apartment with a huge balcony overlooking the breathtaking view of Kotor Bay and the surrounding mountains. There are three apartments of different sizes. We were in a 3-room apartment. The view from a panoramic window speaks for itself.

9. Chata Malina in the Lower Tatra Mountains in Slovakia.

For us the place was the base point for trips in the low and high Tatra Mountains and the Slovakian Paradise national park. The house is located in a quiet place in the forest, but next to a local ski resort, that in the summer is a tourist center with different attractions such as a rope park, lake and mountain bikes.

We lived in a 3-room apartment with an attic. Around the house, there are many facilities for kids include a trampoline and a place to make a campfire. Very nice and comfortable place for trips. A huge supermarket 5 minutes’ drive from the house.

 

 

8. Pension Michelehaeusle in the Black Forest in Germany near the village St. Margen.

A farmhouse near the forest, in a peaceful and pastoral location, with a view of the Black Forest hills. In the house, there are several apartments of different sizes and quantity of rooms. We were on the ground floor in a small apartment with one bedroom and living room. Around the house, there is a paradise for kids, endless grass with playground facilities, a small lake (not for swimming) and plenty of animals like ponies, goats, donkeys and other. In the nearby forest is full of berries. Excellent location for travel in the Schwarzvald region.

 

7. The Log cabin Switzerland in the Galilee with a pool in Avdon village above Kziv streem in the Western Galilee in Israel.

The complex has several log cabins, which are located above the Kziv stream with an amazing pool with views of the mountains of the Western Galilee and the Mediterranean Sea. It is definitely the best place of all the zimmers we were in Israel.

 

 

6. The farmhouse Lochgrubgut in the village of Altenmarkt in Austria in Salzkamergut region.

Not far from the town of Flachau, in a quiet location we found a charming farm where the owners live in a traditional country style and also have few apartments for rent. The farm is full of animals like rabbits, chicken, dogs and cows. Near the farm where we lived, there is a horse farm, where you can take riding lessons on horseback and pony and also take a horse tour in the mountains. We got discount coupons for the horse riding from our apartment. We lived in a two-bedroom apartment and living room on the second floor with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen. Next to the house there is a lawn with a playground and a trampoline. There is also place for barbeque and even bonfire. Great location for traveling in the region.

 

 

5. Boutique Hotel Xenion tou Georgiou Merantza in the mountains of Tsumerka, near the village of Pramanta in Greece.

This is an amazing hotel in the heart of the Zumerka Mountains with a gorgeous view from the balcony. We lived in a two-room country-style apartment, all wooden. The hotel feels like a home rather than a network hotel. A very rich and varied breakfast with homemade local dishes. An amazing swimming pool, surrounded by fruit trees.

 

 

4. 4. Les Jardins du Temps in the village of Illzach near Mulhouse in the Alsace region of France.

Not far from the city of Colmar in the southern Alsace region, we found an amazing place located in a park with landscaped gardens. The owners are landscape architects and they have designed by themselves the gardens and rooms. In the house you can rent 4 apartments and rooms of different sizes. All around, there are lakes, fruit trees and berries, terraces and lots of flowers in all kinds of colors and species. Get ready to live in paradise.

 

3. Log house Trikojis near the lake, not far from the resort town Druskininkai in southwestern Lithuania.

The southern region of Lithuania, no less interesting than the northern, even more tourists. The complex has three charming wooden cabins distant from each other, each with a separate exit to the lake with a private wooden rowing boat. You are free to swim in the lake and enjoy the surrounding beauty.

 

 

2. A Finnish bungalow in the village of Ginkelduin in the Netherlands, not far from Utrecht.

This resort village is different from other resort villages. You will not find masses of tourists here with a huge water park and the constant noise of a club. The idea here is to live in isolated huts in a forest, when you wake up to the sound of birds singing. There are several types of cabins here, so each family can find what suits them, even there is a camping area for trailers. And most importantly, you will not see the nearby huts or hear them. The resort village has a central area with a supermarket, outdoor and indoor pools with slides, trampolines, bicycle rent, mini golf and more. You cannot travel with vehicles inside the village, there is parking at the entrance and from there you can take trolley. A magical place like fairy tales. 1. And in the first place – a wooden house on the farm Zilenu, not far from the town of Moletai in northeastern Lithuania.

An isolated farm in the heart of a forest in the most beautiful lakes region of Lithuania. The farm has some wooden houses for rent, the owners of the place are very friendly and English speakers. Around the farm there are three lakes within a 5-minute walk. All three are completely different with free rowing boats. A quiet and charming place and in a half an hour to an hour drive there are many interesting attractions.
